On the Battle Royale side, there are the new Epic and Legendary Burst Assault Rifles which we previously revealed. These use medium ammo and deal 32/33 damage. They can be obtained as floor loot or inside chests, drops, or vending machines. They have the same damage fall-off range as other assault rifles.
The developers have also added delicious apples as a new uncommon Foraged item, which can be found in trees around the map and give five health when consumed, up to a total of 100.
Save The World has a Quad Rocket Launcher available in the weekly event store, which can fire up to four incendiary rockets that “leaves balls of fire behind after they explode”, which sounds ridiculous. There’s also a new Perk Recombobulator, which is available after players beat Plankerton Storm Shield Defense 2, and allows for easy replacement and upgrading of perk loadouts for weapons and traps.
The 4.2 patch was delayed at the last minute due to a bug, so it’s good it didn’t get delayed again. Hopefully this Mr T cosmetic skin will be coming in the next update.
While Fortnite may be one of the biggest multiplayer games around right about now, it’s still technically in an early access phase. As such, the developer is still fine-tuning the game’s weapons. Here’s your answer to ‘is the burst assault rifle is vaulted in Fortnite?‘
For those who don’t know what the ‘Vaulted’ means, this is a term that the Fortnite’s developers use to state that a weapon has been removed from the standard battle royale game modes.
Though these weapons can sometimes make an appearance in the ‘Unvaulted’ LTM or in Creative Mode, you’re not going to see them in your average Solo match.
Sadly, as part of the v7.10 #3 content update introduced on Jan. 8, the burst assault rifle is vaulted in Fortnite. However, it’s worth noting that not all rarities of this weapon have been removed.
Only the common (grey), uncommon (green), and rare (blue) variants of the burst assault rifle have been vaulted in Fortnite.
The epic (purple) and legendary (gold) versions of the burst assault rifle, commonly referred to as the Famas still remains in your average game of Fortnite.
It’s also worth noting that once a weapon is vaulted in Fortnite, that doesn’t mean it can’t come back. In the past, the Guided Missile Launcher was vaulted before making a return with some adjustments to how it works.
Similarly, the Dual Pistols were vaulted back in Nov. 2018 before being brought back in the v7.10 #3 content update that’s just seen the lower rarity burst assault rifles vaulted.
It may be hard to come to terms with now, but there’s always a glimmer of hope that they can return to the battlefield someday.
And there you have your answer regarding whether or not the burst assault rifle is vaulted in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the current season, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 7 guide wiki.
