Safe Kardex was built now for the first time. Visible records could be protected from fire. A vintage Scientist safe cabinet. Made in Marietta, Ohio and previously functioned in a Chicago bank, this large steel safe cabinet by The Safe-Cabinet Co. Has a Yale lock to the door. A plaque above the lock reads “Underwrites Laboratories inspected safe class B no. 3137,” meaning the cabinet was inspected to be able to withstand fire.
